Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This policy explains what information this website collects, why it is used, where it is processed, and the choices available to you.
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Hyginus Ukeh (“Hyginus,” “I,” or “me”) handles information when you visit this website, submit a project enquiry, join the community list, or request a case-study notification. It applies to this website and the forms provided through it.
Information I collect
I collect information you choose to provide and limited technical or usage information generated when you use the website. The exact information depends on how you interact with the site.
The website does not currently provide user accounts, process payments, sell courses, or operate a client dashboard.
Information you provide directly
Community signup
When you join the community list, you provide an email address so I can store your request and send a transactional welcome email with the current community invite link. The stored record also includes a source, subscription status, unique record identifier, and creation time.
Contact and project enquiries
When you use the Start a Project form, you provide your name, email address, and project message. These details are used to review and respond to your enquiry. The stored record also includes a source, lead status, unique record identifier, and creation and update times.
Case-study notifications
When you request a case-study notification, you provide an email address. The record also identifies the project you selected and includes a subscription status, unique record identifier, and creation time. This information is used to notify you when that case study becomes available.
Information collected automatically
When analytics is enabled, Google Analytics may automatically collect information such as page visits, session activity, approximate location, browser and device information, and how you interact with links, projects, videos, and calls to action.
The website records selected business events using controlled descriptive details, such as the title of a public project or content item. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, private messages, and project descriptions are not intentionally sent as custom analytics parameters.
How I use information
I use information collected through the website to:
- respond to project enquiries and communicate with you;
- manage community and case-study notification requests;
- understand site usage, page visits, content interactions, project interest, and conversion performance;
- improve website performance, content, and user experience;
- prevent misuse, investigate technical issues, and protect the site;
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager when analytics is enabled. These tools help me understand how the site is used, including page visits, calls-to-action, project interest, content engagement, testimonial-video engagement, and successful form conversions.
Google may process identifiers and technical usage information in accordance with its own policies. You can learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy and its Analytics data collection guidance.
Storage and service providers
Form submissions are stored in Supabase, a hosted database service. Community signups, project enquiries, and case-study notifications are sent to Supabase through server-side actions rather than through a privileged browser credential.
After a community signup is stored, Resend processes the email address needed to send the welcome email and community invite link.
After a project enquiry is stored, Resend processes the information needed to send an acknowledgement to you and a private notification to me. This may include your name, email address, project message, and submission time.
Supabase, Resend, and Google process information under their own terms and privacy practices. For more information, review the Supabase Privacy Policy, the Resend Privacy Policy, and the Google privacy resources linked above.
Data retention
I retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to enquiries, maintaining requested notification lists, resolving disputes, protecting the website, and meeting applicable legal obligations. The appropriate period may differ by the type of record and why it was collected.
Data security
I use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. Current form submissions use server-side database access, and the relevant database tables restrict direct public access. However, no method of transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can choose not to submit a form and can manage cookies through your browser settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of personal information, or to object to certain uses and withdraw consent where applicable.
To ask about your information or request a change, use the Contact / Start a Project section. I may need enough information to verify and respond to your request. Some requests may be limited where retention is required by law or another valid reason applies.
International processing
Supabase, Resend, and Google may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Their processing locations and safeguards are described in their respective privacy and data-protection materials. Data-protection rules may differ between countries.
External links and media
The website links to third-party services including WhatsApp, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Contra. When you follow an external link, that service’s terms and privacy practices apply. I do not control how those services collect or use information.
Testimonial videos currently play from files hosted on this website, not from a third-party video embed. Their playback may still be measured through the site’s analytics as described above.
Children’s privacy
This website is intended for a general professional audience and is not directed to children. I do not knowingly seek personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact me so the matter can be reviewed.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
I may update this Privacy Policy when the website, its services, or applicable requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will show when the policy was most recently revised.
Contact
For privacy questions or requests, use the Contact / Start a Project section and state that your message concerns privacy. A dedicated public privacy email address is not currently listed on this website.
